About JA Myburgh
JA Myburgh is a CrossFit coach and sports physiotherapist specializing in the performance and development of athletes in Strength and conditioning (CrossFit, rugby, and bobsledding, etc.) With over 20 years of coaching experience, JA has prepared athletes for elite competition, including the Gymnastics World Championships and the CrossFit Games.
A former international gymnast with a 16-year career, JA competed globally at numerous World Cups, World Games, and World Championship events. His deep passion for athletic performance extends beyond conventional coaching—he is committed to delivering the most current, science-backed knowledge to help every athlete reach their full potential.
Today, JA operates his own CFD Fitness Box and leads an online training platform, Explore The Movement. For nearly a decade, he has traveled the world teaching injury prevention, sports performance principles, and gymnastics skills within the CrossFit community.
